Sound therapy for vibrational healing

Healing with sound has been around since Egyptian times. Walking around ancient Egyptian temples you see the instruments carved into the wall for healing.  Egyptians and many other ancient cultures understood the transformative and healing power of sound.

Sound healing has transformed my own life, and I’ve seen the profound impact it has had on my clients’ lives as well.

Sound healing benefits

We have all listened to a catchy tune and immediately felt an energy boost run through us. This is a great example of how we respond to sound and how it can change our emotions, energy, vibration, and mood. Through its vibration it can help relieve anxiety, stress, and worries and replace them with peace.

The instruments used in sound healing create vibration that moves though you and around you. Sound releases emotions and blocks that can be stored in the body and allows new pathways to open, resulting in a better life free of limitations.

Sound healing as a complement to hypnosis

Sound is a powerful tool for clearing the mind which is why I find it such a good complement to hypnosis.

Being a sound healer is deeply intuitive work for me and the instruments will guide me on which to use for you. A sound you love may not resonate for another because you’re in a different space of energy and need other sound instruments in order to connect. I often recommend a smaller Himalayan bowl or tingshas as an aid to people with very busy minds to help clear their minds for self-hypnosis.

My experience with Himalayan sound bowl healing

The healing sound of Himalayan bowls called to me at an event I attended after I learned hypnosis. I immediately went out and bought one and began incorporating it into hypnosis sessions with clients. They responded quickly and powerfully to the low tones of vibrational healing that emanated from it. I now have many sizes of healing Himalayan bowls available in my work with clients.

When I went for training in sound therapy, and I found it opened my intuition and my ability to connect deeper in hypnosis and meditative work. I experienced how powerful sound healing is in my own life, too.

Sound healing in my hypnosis practice

Besides using Himalayan healing sound bowls (also referred to Tibetan bowls for healing) I have crystal bowls, a shruti box, a harp, chimes, a flute, tingshas, tuning forks, rain sticks, a drum, and a small gong. I am always looking for new instruments on my travels to add to my collection.

I also use my voice in sessions, which has become its own powerful instrument of healing. I allow the connection with sound to flow out of me with the tones, chanting, and angelic soothing vibrations that are needed for you during the session.

I incorporate sound healing therapy in my hypnosis program Transformation Through Hypnosis and my upcoming hypnosis subscription Cancer Healing Journey.

I also offer healing sound baths for groups, corporations, and hospitals.
